We started our trip to Yosemite on 4th May this year. All of us were getting ready for this especially as we all haven't met from very long time. When we booked car we thought it will be sufficient for 7 people, but it wasn't. So we booked new car and it was very bulky. We asked booking people to change the car and they did. So now we learnt our first lesson, " Car should be booked carefully". We started our journey and climate was helping us. It was sunny day and we all love driving so we said Get , Set , Go. Among all of us it was my husband, Ankur who knew driving well. My expectations were to make each of us driver once, but some people among us haven't tried their hands on driving in California and its scary if suddenly they want to drive without knowing all the rules. I was listening to music and was enjoying scenery. You can see the natural beauty if you are not sitting on driver seat. We did half dome hike and enjoyed the place. Though, we didn't met with any bear it was a good, refreshing trip.

Like it or not like it !!
When we have to live our life in a metropolitan city then it will bring its own discomfort and pleasure. I' m living in Gurgaon from almost last three years. This city is called as "Millenium City" for its infrastructure & latest developments in the industrial sector.I can easily relate myself to this place as I started my career from one of the company here only.Though its a growing city but life here is really difficult. One of the major reason behind this is the lack of proper channels for transportation.Everyday I see shared autos filled with lots of commuters who wants to reach their office on time. They do not have any other option for travelling. For Gurgaon to Delhi there are many buses but they all start at a fixed point and hardly stops to every hook & corner. Moreover its about reaching your destination on time by any means of transportation.
Second thing which irritates me in this city is frequent power cut. Mostly during summer's its tough to survive in this hot climate.

Pain in a relationship!!!
We all undergo some kind of pain in our some or almost every relationships. We desire love, care, and much needed warmth in a relation. No relationship is perfect same as we individuals. We try to achieve that perfection by growing in the relation. Its always the imperfection that makes a perfect relation. You grow in the relationship the way a plant is grown with lots of effort so that once its reaped, it will start giving you the much awaited fruits.
There is a time in a relationship when you scream and crave for attention. You expect something but you do not get the same results all the time. You feel suffocated and ditched. You start assuming many things without any basis. There is a time in every relation when its just on the verge of dying. That is the time where you have to rejuvenate it the way a plant is survived by proper nurturing and nourishment. You need to realise that its not the breaking point but actually the threshold point from where the actual relation begins to grow. You realise the importance of the person with whom you have spent all your happy and sad moments. You understand the importance of him or her in your life. As its the human tendency that we always remember the negatives of a person rather than the positives on a long term association, if we come across a sudden upheaval or crack in our relation. It makes you to feel more bitter and resentful. But the fact is to see the bigger picture and longevity of your happy moments which you had shared together.
It is not the small pains and pleasures which breaks or makes a relationship but the ultimate happiness to live your whole life with someone who is with you forever to hold your hand.
Life in a metro....
10th April,2013 was a bit cloudy and humid. I was watching outside from the window of my room and could see the clear sky with bunch of clouds. I managed to leave the bed and started my day. It was really difficult to start your day on Monday after a long weekend.Monday blues was still in my mind. I came down on the gate of my pg and to my great dismay I found that my car back tire was punctured.
I somehow managed to reach Iffco metro station and boarded a metro for the first time in my life. Metro's in Delhi have long queue for buying the boarding pass. It's also divided in various compartments and the first compartment is preserved especially for ladies. I was happily seated when metro stopped near to my legs. I boarded and took a corner seat. All those people who were outside the ladies compartment & were standing in another compartment looked as if prisoner is peeping outside in the hope of freedom. My attention was on a girl who was talking to her boyfriend from almost last half an hour. She was so oblivious to everyone nearby sitting to her. She was playing with her hairs and smiling a lot on the conversation.I was wondering to see that another lady who was sitting next to her was furious and grumbling after looking on that girl constantly.
As more and more people were entering in the metro, I was looking to one middle aged lady who was complaining about her daughter-in-law for avoiding responsibilities at home. She was a working women and therefore wasn't able to devote too much time to her in laws and daily chores. Dissatisfied mother-in-law was against of these new generation females who are career oriented and ambitious. If you are pursuing your own dreams than you have to compromise a little bit everywhere in terms of family life and that is not acceptable to everyone.
Life gives us so many things both good and bad ,as it is rightly said that more you face obstacles or misery in your life, more life is testing you. We start learning as a kid right from pencil and rubber, where we can write anything on the blackboard which is blank & if we do not like anything we can delete that also. But this is not the case in our real life.We cannot unlearn something if we had suffered unpleasant in our encounter while learning new thing. It will become an experience no matter how good or bad it is. We understand the importance of many things either when its lost or cannot be felt anymore.
We want to achieve great things and believe in our dreams that one day it will come true. But when dream shatters, only then we realize the pain that it is really difficult to live the life of your own dreams. Life teaches you resilience and gives a challenge to prove that you have the grit and determination to reach your destination. You should be ready to fight with anything so that nothing can withhold you from reaching that position which you are striving very hard. I am the one who can leave a mark with my utmost enthusiasm and persistence for my dreams to come true.

Visit to IIMPACT centers in Mewat
Saturday, 24 December, 2011 was not the usual office day to me. I had plans to visit IIMPACT centers of Haryana in Mewat district. With some of my other colleagues of Tex, I left my office premises and moved for the centers. Initially we went to “Shikarpur” village of Mewat district. When we reached there, we saw a very beautiful, colorful Rangoli on the floor with some girls, eagerly waiting for us. I was surprised to see when all under privileged girls studying in the cool chilly winters without wearing even a single sweater or jacket. They were reciting various poems and “Nazam” to enthrall us. After distributing blankets, shawl’s, chocolates & pen we moved to another center.
This center was located in the interior of “Mewat” district of Haryana. It was another village by the name of “Rehana”. When we reached there, all villagers greeted us with garlands and roses. Among all of them, there were very few people who were aware of the fact that who we are and why we have come there. Girls were sitting on the floor and wondering to see us all of a sudden. When we introduced ourselves and asked their introduction, they were quiet and shy. Then we sat with them on the floor itself and started giving chocolates who were introducing themselves. Later on, all introduced themselves and recited poems for us like “Twinkle Twinkle little stars” and “Johny Johny yes papa”. We got amazed to hear girl’s lovely voice in some local tunes too. All in all, we left that place in a hope of bright future of these girls with “IIMPACT”.
